Re-search - the meaning of this word from another angle.

In the realm of consciousness, there is no time. It is all in continuum. Everything, all the matter and all the energy, they exist together homogeneously in the same substratum. That is also called as the Universal Consciousness. In the ancient time, all our Sages knew this deeper reality of the existence.

When the scientist takes the search for the things/concepts, they have got one pointed focus. All their energy (sentient/insentient) are concentrated behind only one thing. That goes so deeper into their consciousness that their craving again raises from every particle of their being. Nature anyway supports those whose enquiry is one pointed. So, the YOGA gets generated where the individual consciousness of the scientists meets with the Universal consciousness. As everything is present in that substratum, in reality, it is not any Shodhan (or search) but it is Sam Shodhan (Re-search). Hence, the name they gave was of Re-search. Shodhan or search is to find something if it is lost but SamShodhan is to re find it.

Spiritual analysis of how cancer happens....

One of the senior Doctor shared this amazing knowledge, who has been with Guruji for more than 22 years and also one of the senior teacher's of AOL.

When there is lack in the mind, you crave for more and more. Your craving intensity is so high that you are giving your 100% in your cravings. Whether you realize it or not, you demand more and more from every cell of your body. Thus, the smallest unit of our existence, the cell, starts using its intellect the best it can. Once you give some order to your mind, your intellect is equipped enough to find all the ways to make it reality. Hence, the cell intellect starts dividing itself. Because the most it can do to gain more is by dividing itself at a speed where it is not aware exactly of what is being done but the feeling of lack is the driving force. that is how it begins...

Think over it and post your comments here so that we can explore this subject more. Because, for me, this is a shocking stuff to analyse. If this is the root cause then we must take action to stop it and the best solution is the feeling of contentment which can prevent it. As a human being, we owe it to the rest of all. Don't we? and we must do whatever all is needed to help lessening suffering from this world.

Jai Guru Dev !!

What is Sadhna?

Sadhna- Spiritual Practices, is not just an exercise. It is the way to surrender your self, your thoughts, your emotions with each passing breath. Keep on praying to your master that I want to be useful, I want to do Seva, I want to reach to the Ultimate.

If positive emotion/thought comes, feel grateful and surrender it thankfully with outgoing breath. If negative emotion/thought comes up, just pray to Him to free you from that harmful tendency of the mind.

When you are offering your life in love to the Lord, it becomes your true Sadhna.

Filtration -How important it is?

We have talked about observe, filter and surrender  - The master key

What if we are not able to use Filter properly? Filter is there for us to separate the harmful habits of mind from the beneficial ones. So that we can finally surrender those harmful habits to the divine and be free of them.

Events come and go, but the habits, the tendencies of the mind come on the surface again and again. For example, if one possess a habit of blurting out anything at any time than it can be harmful. As in, if he/she is not able to put a filter of Viveka (discrimination), he/she would never be able to appeal anyone in his/her life, right? Practically this small thing helps a lot in our day to day life where we are surrounded with people and our connections in the capacity of different relations with them. Just check out all your relations and see if you are losing them just because you do not appeal them any more. If so, now you have got a key. Use Viveka and filter it out.

connection...

Just remembering a small event happened in Berlin..

Just before the Satsang starts, I wanted to connect the wire of the lamp post to the plug to switch it on. I could not find it. Once I found it, some words just came out like,"It is so important to connect the wire to the plug in order to have light..."

n this simple sounding statement is so very effective if we see the subtle meaning behind it..!! If we want light in our life, the light of Truth, the Divinity then it is essential that we plug in the wire of our self to the big self. We connect ourselves with this universal consciousness, which like an electricity is present anyways. it is just the matter of connecting with it. As soon as we connect, the lamp starts functioning n so is our heart n mind.. in the direction of the truth..

Seven Flavours of Consciousness..

After a long time, I got an opportunity to get connected through internet again. In the mean time, a friend gifted a book named, "Rang de re mann"  by Kartik Shah. Today, I am sharing some of the things clicked with me from that book.

It is again based on the knowledge sessions that we attended with Rishiji.

Assuming here, we all know what is consciousness, let us go ahead with the different flavours of consciousness. At a time, one of these flavours would be dominating our existence, our consciousness.

1. Complaining Consciousness - which likes to complain
2. Attacking Consciousness -which likes to be attacking, not ready to listen to anything or anyone.
3. Defensive Consciousness - interested in defending the self.
4. Victim Consciousness - interested in blaming others.
5. Aloof Consciousness - interested in being with one's own shell, like a turtle - pulling away from the world.
6. Guilt Consciousness - interested in blaming the self.
7. Lack Consciousness -feeling constant lack of everything.

A refined intelligence and a high degree of awareness is needed to keep a watch on our minds. I would recommend that all of us should start observing our mind and at a time which of the flavours is dominant. How do we behave under the influence of the pattern of the mind as such? Note it down and see if you tend to follow any patterns with same people or situations. Is it harmful to your mind or beneficial?

The first step is being aware. Therefore, if we have not begun yet, let us start being aware about our tendencies. Let us identify those harmful habits of the mind. We will discuss each of these flavours.. but before that, start practising to observe your own mind. We might forget what we read or listen to, but we do not forget what we experience. so let us start learning with experiences.

Language of the Universe...

Silence is the language of the universe. yet, the Universe is not at all silent. With all the cosmic members, it just keeps making non-striking sound. The sound which speaks the language of the silence.

Is it possible to understand what it has to say?
yes it is possible by diving deeper into the inner world. We have to begin by understanding the language of our own hearts. In Guruji's words, our intuition. for that, we have to be quiet. We have to spend quality time with our own company. Have a journey through your own mind. It is so infinite, so vast. It is easy to write these words Infinite and Vast. But if you just sit with yourself, with a determination of not getting distracted by your senses, you will see that the entire universe is present inside you. You look at the stars and the distance between them. The same space is there between two sub-atomic particles in every particle of your being. You see the universe is all functioning with its vibrations, pulsations. Your body resonates the same vibes. Once, you interpret the language of your body and mind, u can easily link it to get to know what the entire universe has to say. All you have to do is to start with an understanding at the cellular level, which can only be done by relaxing and reposing into the Self. At any given time, with respect to the space around you, you can easily make your own formula and solve this puzzle.

Silence is the most sensible language where complex things can be easily communicated in simple ways. Practice will make us more perfect and grace will do miracles. All we have to do is to take first step towards it. Good luck to all of us, the Spiritual Scientists,  for this beautiful journey of understanding the language of the universe.

Gv ur quality time to the divine !!

Very simple yet so profound wisdom from Marcel ji that he shared with us in Berlin...!!

We must give our quality time to our Sadhna, our Satsangs, our meditations. Because, the Universe, the nature, the divine feels the consciousness behind our activities. The qualitative aspect is directly proportional to the response from the divine.

Give the best time of your day to the most productive, highest value activity of your life, like your Sadhna, your meditations, your prayers and see how beautifully this entire Universe responds. It will also start giving you the best things in your life. It will also start feeling how valuable your prayers are !!

This is beautiful science of law of attraction. To attract the most valuable, you need to keep on generating vibes of the similar sort. and for that you must offer your best to this nature. It feels your presence in its own way. Strange but true !!

Apply and Supply

A beautiful knowledge point by Bhavna in London...

The real beauty lies in the world within one's mind, one's self. To reach to that deep level of our own existence, we need to apply the knowledge that we come across along with supplying the same to our beloved ones.. I would say,  the applying part is more relevant to the students on the path of self exploration.

It is very easy to keep on supplying the knowledge that we get. We can keep on passing it to all our loved ones to help them uplifting their level of evolution. Of course our love for them is our driving force there. But, at the same time, if we apply the same knowledge, even a single point thoroughly in our lives, wouldn't it be a kind of more authentic supply afterwards?

When I say knowledge, I mean some knowledge points like expectations reduces joy or You do not need a reason to be happy, etc. Let us start applying this wisdom in our lives and see where it takes us. I am sure, it will make our experience of life more profound and deeper. Then after whatever knowledge will come from us would be the knowledge of the Self, where it actually KNOWS, in terms of deep experiences rather than mere words.

Take this beyond the level of intellect and let this amazing wisdom just be part of your life. All the best friends. I am also experimenting on this and will keep on sharing whatever are the outcomes. I suggest, you also share here in comments whatever are your experiences.

Eight ways to Maintain your peace of mind ..

Swami Sadhyojatha ji shared this amazing knowledge with us in Berlin...

Once you attain the peace of your mind, you want to sustain it. Guruji says there are eight ways to maintain your peace of mind. These ways are all equally important. There is nothing like first one is more important than the second one.

1. Smile- Keep smile on your face.
2. Walk alone for some time during the day.
3. Sing alone for some time in a day.
4. Sadhna  -do your Sadhna regularly.
5. Meditation - meditate every day regularly.
6. Reflect your life based on time and space - everyday remind your self about your existence with respect to space and time. It is good to reflect upon it for few moments.
7. Seva - do some act of seva.
8. Faith - keep faith.

Your life...flute for Krishna...

Just amazing wisdom poured from different Yogis here in Berlin...

Keep your heart pure and mind hollow and empty. Don't let events or situations take over you. Do your duty with full dedication and commitment but do not get attached to the situations or people. Just keep practising your meditations, keep on releasing the impressions. Become hollow and empty completely and keep on surrendering your life to the divine.

Remember, life is like a FLUTE, and Krishna loves His Flute, His magical instrument. The more hollow and empty you are, the better instrument of your Krishna you can be. Just make your life that Flute and offer it to your divine and let Him play the best of His tunes through you..

Don't fall for convenience.. choose what is best ...

Another pearl of wisdom from Rishi Nityapragya..

When making a decision in life, the mind has a tendency to do what is convenient and not
what is of the most benefit to you. To attain the highest, you may need to go through a little effort in the beggining to get what you want. Don't let your mind fool you into taking the easy option... always do the things that will bring you the best results in life!

Vigyanamaya Kosha and Ayurveda

In ancient times, people were suffering and there was need to invent some remedies against diseases. So all the wise people, super intelligent Rishis and Munis got together in Naimisharanya and decided to invent solution for human sicknesses and illnesses. 84,000 of them decided to go deeper into their Vigyanmaya Kosha (The deeper level of the consciousness, of the being), where their intuitive abilities would guide them further for what they are looking for. Bhardwaj Rishi decided not to go into meditation so that he can write whatever other Rishis have to say as an outcome of their intuition, while meditating. That was the birth of Ayurveda.. They went deeper into their selves and merged so much into the unit of existence that their intuition guided them to find remedies of various disease with the help of plants and herbs available on the earth.

When we do Pancha Kosha meditation with this understanding of those 5 koshas, it makes the experience more deeper. Pancha kosha is made up of five Koshas. Starting with Annamaya, Pranamaya, Manomaya, Vigyanmaya and finsihing with Anandamaya.

Face your limitations..

Every time when you feel little uncomfortable by people, situations or things, just check the mind. It is getting exposed to another limitation. The limitation which is not any stopping barrier in reality, but the limitation of the mind to accommodate that reaction, that activity, which projects its inability in the form of some fear, some reaction of discomfort.

But as you allow your mind to pass through that discomfort and let it go beyond that, you will see something in you expands.  When you face that discomfort, you will realize that you can still survive. You can accommodate that experience of passing through that phase with all its emotions that it has to offer, remaining intact.

Therefore, when you face any such situations again, you will not get agitated easily. Because you have given your mind the experience of passing though it and you know that you will be intact. So, you can easily accommodate it on a large scale afterwards. Therefore, small little things won't bother you much. This is called expansion of the consciousness.

Only if you are Valuable...

Again this one comes from a Spiritual Rock Star, Rishi Nityapragya ji..

If you are valuable, you will see how you drop the things but whatever is good for you, will come back to you manifold. But, only if you are valuable. If not valuable, it is a different story.

What I understand is, you have to make yourself valuable enough where people and things start feeling your presence in a way that wherever you go, they get value because of You. You sit on the sofa and it becomes valuable. Your apparel gets value because U wear them. The people around you gets value, because they are with U. So friends, let us start making ourselves more Valuable.

When you feel You are not doing Enough...

When you get something life transforming, you want to express your gratitude towards the one who has done it to you. You feel like "what can I do for you? And how would I ever be able to express my gratitude to you fully? What can I contribute towards the success of your mission? "  Especially, when you know that you are capable of doing anything. You are blessed with a rock like determination and your intelligence is anyway equipped enough to make it a reality. You are overflowing with the enthusiasm to do something and you know how to channelize it properly. You start doing some work in that direction as well but what to do when you feel, the work I am doing is not enough? When it does not let you sleep in nights? When it makes you so restless that you feel worthless?

First of all know that it is a beautiful beginning of unfolding another dimension of your life. It is like seeing a different facet of the same diamond. You are THE chosen one that is why you feel that the seva you do is not enough. Second, it is all happening. You are not the DOER. Whether you play any active role in it or not, it is just happening. It will continue happening with or without you. So, why to be feverish? Feverishness kills the charm of the present moment. You are blessed with this moment to make it more beautiful by contributing your happiness. As nature senses our feelings as well, we must share happiness and joy. Why to create unnecessary layers of frustration/tension/feverishness over the core of our being (which is joy, peace and love).

As soon as this awareness comes that I am a very special child of the divine, I am taken care of and I am given whatever I need at the right time, will bring enormous confidence in you. Have that faith and keep on being grateful. And see, how beautifully grace will flow in your life. Keep on surrendering all to the divine with every passing breath. It will just make your life eternal celebration.

When People keeps bugging you, upsetting you...

Well, first of all accept the reality that it is NOT the PEOPLE or SITUATIONS that bug you, or upset you. It is your own mind and the importance or space you have given to those people and situations in your mind.

Just experiment this for a while. Try to get upset on something that a stranger says to you and observe, how long can you remain in that state of mind? at first you will ignore it, you won't get upset at all, or may be for few seconds or few minutes. But not for a considerable length of time. Now, if the same situation arises with the people you know then you will get upset and you will carry that state of mind for a much longer time. Why? just a simple reason. You have given space in your mind to those people to whom you know.

Your intensity of the attachment will show how much space you have given to those people, or viseversa. So, my friends beware of whom are you giving how much space in your mind. It is much wise to give more space to those people who are good company to keep, whose presence uplifts you, kindles love, joy, laughter, generosity in you.

Never be upset from within for any one's action or reaction. Momentary emotions of anger or sadness is okay. It is human thing. But, it is not our very core nature. So, it does not stay longer. Our nature is of love and joy. So, all lasts at the end is pure love, bliss and joy. This awareness and knowledge brings freedom in this very moment. So, next time before blaming anyone else, just check out your own mind.

Why Mantra chanting makes one Happy ?

A secret of ancient Knowledge by Shastriji...

Mantras have been in the air for thousands of years. In Ancient times Rishis used to impart Knowledge in the form of Mantras and the disciple had to recite it. That way they let that knowledge assimilate in every cell of their body, every particle of their beings. When you chant Mantra, it creates specific vibration in the subtle body and corresponding sensation in the physical body. It is a beautiful science of invoking the divinity. Amazing science dealing with energy and matter.

Our consciousness is also thousands of years old. So, during our earlier life times, somewhere, we have already heard the Mantras or recited it ourselves. Out of seven layers of our consciousness, we leave body and breath when we change life. But, the rest of the level goes ahead as they are. Therefore, our memory contains the impressions of the recitations somewhere deep down, so, when you chant Mantras, the consciousness comes in contact with Mantra vibrations already oscillating in the atmosphere, then it feels like meeting an old friend. and it feels very happy. That is why you feel very happy, joyous, crying out of tears of joy, uplifted when you Chant Mantras.

Jab Life ho out of Control..

What do you do when you see situations in life which is not in your control? When you see people you love the most wasting their lives like stupid slaves? and you know the path leading to most joyous life, you suggest it to them, but they are so blind by the glitter of that MAYA that they can't even see through it... then you feel tensed, frustrated..

What to do then? Well, the first thing is, Thank God for the realization again and again that nothing is in our control. Be it our own life or someone else's life. We can not even control our own body and mind, how can we expect to control someone else'? So, accept this fact and be in harmony with your own mind. Tension will start releasing automatically. then, just take responsibility. What is the need of that time for you to do? If your action can bring any solution, just go for it. If not, then simply take a back seat, and pray to the God. Tell God that you are now aware about one more limitation of your and you surrender that too to the divine.

By doing this, you gain skill. Skill in action is Yoga. So, again you are on a way to become a true Yogi. Do not be afraid of getting exposed to your limitations. If this happens, just thank the divine, offer it to him with love and move on... Life is to move on... coz it rocks !!

Amazing how Nadis functions..

Do You know that when our Left nostril is active, our right brain is active and when we are breathing through right nostril, our left brain is active. Right brain is associated with creativity and relaxation whereas left brain is dealing with analysis, intelligence, logic.

Hence, when the left nostril is active, it is better to sing, dance, meditate but not to try understanding anything. Because the ability to understand, to discriminate is not active at that time. Even your metabolism rate is only half as much as it is when you breath through right nostril, hence Rishis said in ancient Scriptures that that is the ideal time for drinking water.

When right nadi is active, you should listen to the knowledge, you should do all intellectual work. Because at this time you go one step behind your senses. You use your intelligence. You are able to understand the knowledge more effectively. You should prefer eating food when the right nostril is functioning because of the rate of metabolism being high.

You should never eat and drink together. It affects the metabolism and reduces its efficiency. These nadis keep changing every hour. you can check which one of your nadi is active by simply placing your hand under your nose and exhale. Both may be active at times, and there is altogether a different interpretation for that, which I do not know at the moment. You can make things change by following the proper nadi shashtra. I am just sharing whatever little Knowledge I heard from Guruji today.

Jai Gurudev !!!

You be centered...

If you want to achieve something big in life, learn to be centered. Once you are centered, you will see, how easily things fall into place. You can easily be indifferent towards praises or criticism, towards dialogues or conflicts.

Being centered means how dignified you can remain in spite of all the odds against you. As one of the senior teacher said recently, "Even if somebody kicks you out from their home, with the most abusive words and the worst of all offensive behaviour, without even leaving a single cloth on your body and then if you can still smile through that situation and walk with a dignity than you are there, Centered..... "

Centeredness doesn't come overnight but nature is so kind to us that it keeps on providing us with all the opportunities to go through such situations. If you ever face any situation which is difficult to handle, where your limitations are getting exposed, simply thank God for giving you one more chance to feel centred. Just smile through that situation and surrender it all to the divine. You remain dignified and also maintain others' dignity.

Abhyasa - practising this again and again, would surely fetch you the results.

The Nature feels your presence...

Do you wonder sometimes you are happy and the whole surrounding, the whole space/environment around you seems like dancing with your joy? and at times when you are sad, it seems like going away from you? very heavy...

Have you ever wondered why this happens? It is because, nature around you, feels your presence.  When you are happy from every cell of your body, you are constantly feeling the vibrant, pulsating energy (Satt-chitt-ananda), which comes in contact with the aura of the other objects or space around you. It interacts with that aura and that is how they feel your presence. This is on physical or aura level. and the nature responds to you as well. The longer you remain happy, the longer nature loves you. Because, nature honours you being established in your self. and then nature keeps on creating those situations around you where your happiness gets multiplied. Because it gets those vibes from you and attracts similar vibes to make it a big lump of such vibes. There is this deep science behind it. We will explore it further at some other time.

But, the more unnatural you are from within, the more closet you become, you become hard and heavy in your heart, the vibes generated are also repulsive. And therefore nature's response is accordingly. It also gets upset and then we see natural calamities/disasters.

Sit amongst devotees...

When you feel your enthusiasm is going down just go and sit amongst devotees, sincere seekers and you will realize that just by their company, you get new enthusiasm. The group energy works wonders. It makes the toughest knowledge possible to get assimilated in every cell of your body, every particle of your being.

Only one condition applies here. You need to make sure that the group of people you are sitting amongst are sincere seekers like you.

What makes u a good leader?

Just came across this article on a friend's page and can not stop sharing it... Thanks to Christian Matta for this wonderful article.

Guruji says there are 12 qualities, which makes you an outstanding leader.
  1. The first quality of leadership is to set an example. A leader doesn't just order things he does it so that others can do it.
  2. Second aspect is that a leader takes good care of those whom he is leading.
  3. Third aspect is that he doesn't create followers. A good leader creates leaders. And then chain action happens. A leader should delegate responsibility.
  4. The fourth quality is that a leader does not depend on authority. He just does a thing, whether authority is invested or not. It comes by itself.
  5. The fifth aspect of leadership is that he does not worry about position. The respect that you gain through virtue is very different from the respect you gain through the position. The respect you get through a position is short-lived and temporary. But the respect that you gain just because of your smile, your attitude, your virtues are there with you all the time. You may be a chairman of this committee, a president of that committee, or you are barrister here or governor of that state these are all momentary, temporary. They come and they go. And the respect you get because of this position is not genuine, it is not from the heart, it is not true. But the respect you gain because you are a nice person, is genuine, it lasts long. It is spontaneous.
  6. The sixth quality is that a leader is alert and when challenges come, he is not disturbed. A good leader is one who does not drop things when challenges appear.
  7. The seventh quality of a good leader is one who does not care for comfort, but who stretches himself beyond the comfort zone. Anything creative, dynamic and great can happen only when you stretch beyond your comfort zone where we are often struck. We think we cannot do something just make an effort and put one step ahead, and you will find that that you are expanding your comfort zone. Creativity transcends your comfort zone. Or, when you step out of the comfort zone, your creativity comes into play.
  8. The eighth aspect is, a leader should not mix head and heart. If you mix head and heart, you are in a mess When you have to work, you work with commitment and you live with your head. In life, in situations other than when you are working, listen to your heart.
  9. The ninth quality of a good leader is that he should be multidimensional and see from the others point of view. Put yourself in other persons shoes, look from the other persons point of view.
  10. The tenth aspect is that the leader doesn't depend on one-sided information. When you get some news from one side, dont take any decision or conclusion till you hear from the other side also. Leader should be a good communicator.
  11. The eleventh is that a leader should have a direct approach.
  12. Twelfth quality of a good leader is not to judge oneself. You have this tendency of judging yourself, Am I good? I am no good. The self-judgement is an obstruction. Stop doing that. Don't judge yourself. When you judge yourself, you are judging others also. Then you oscillate  like a pendulum. If you feel you're good, then you are saying that others are not so good. So when you find that others are good, and then you feel that you are no good, you blame yourself. Judgement is very similar to self- blame and blaming others. We have to get out of this vicious circle of self-judgement. That is also the state of surrender. When you have surrendered to the Divine that means that you no longer judge yourself. Self-judgement is not necessary. A child is so innocent, why? Because the child doesnt judge itself.

Advaistha Sarva Bhutanam...

The one who is interested in become Yogi, skilful in whatever he does in life, interested in self development up to highest level, needs to gain knowledge about how to become yogi. Even if you are interested not in Yoga but a devotee of your divine, then also, you need to know about Yoga.

Because, Krishna says to Arjuna that you become a yogi. Yogis are very dear to me. Then he says the characteristics of a Yogi. One of those characteristics is,

"advaishta sarva-bhutanam..."

The one who is not envious to anyone, who doesn't hold any ill feeling towards anyone in this whole creation.

Now think about one thing. Your mind, at a time has got infinite space. n if you hold any ill feeling, any envious, jealous, hatred or likewise feelings about anyone then, whenever you will meet those people, or hear about them or even if you remember them, your such feeling gets triggered and you lose that much of space of your mind for that moment. Isn't it like insulting the precious gift of this moment given by nature? The moment, which holds infinite possibilities to go further for your evolution, you waste in triggering those ill feelings which are so useless, because it doesn't affect the people involved in your  mind, it affects you the most.

Instead, if you just develop the sense of being happy, keeping this attitude of your state of mind being unaffected by anyone or anything. Even if it gets affected, not to promote or give encouragement to such thoughts much in your own mind. Wouldn't it bring that availability of the moment in your life? You will then get that moment to live in it. and what would be better honour then respecting and living in the MOMENT ? You can fill up that moment by any of the highest value activities of Seva, Sadhna or Satsang. Think about how best you can use this life time? If not for other's sake, for your own sake you will have to go one step further in your evolution.

Serve before You Lead...

Leadership should be comprised of of altruism, empowerment, humility, love, service, trust, and vision.

If we look back to our History, Mahatma Gandhi placed before us a higher standard of leadership based on an enduring spirit of personal service. Gandhiji was a well known servant Leader. He puts Serving the Society, Serving the Mankind at the Core. He says, Service (Seva) is the reason for leadership and not only the qualification for the leadership but an end of leadership.

I believe your persona, your overall communication speaks more than your words. If you want to establish yourself as a true leader, win over the hearts of the masses. for that, you need to set an example of serving first. Gandhiji never said anyone to pick rubbish if he wanted the city to be cleaned. He just started picking rubbish himself and people just joined him. It was of course the love of the people initially which made them join him. He never felt ashamed of doing any work himself. He believed that if you have to be leader, you have to set example and for that, you yourself must be clear from within that you follow your own preachings.

How to organize an Event?

Again, another pearl of wisdom from Rishi Nityapragya ji...

There are 5 things needed for any event to take place.

1. Mahol (Atmosphere)
You need to create the value for your event. You should not take it casually. The more you make it, "Not so easy to get into people's mind", the more value it adds into it. Because then the human mind becomes curious enough to know what is it? I want to know more, I want to explore this.

2. Karta (the one who takes responsibility)
You need someone to take the total responsibility for the entire event. He works like a palm. He is supposed to make the event all happening.

3. Instruments (those ones who help in it)
Instruments are like fingers. You need to identify the strength and weakness of the people who are working as instruments. If someone is capable of high intelligent work and you don't allocate them that work, they feel under usage and if someone is not that capable and you give them responsibility of that kind of work, they feel over usage. So, Karta needs to identify what is the strength and weakness of each individual in the group and then need to work accordingly so that the whole group functions to create the event.

4. Techniques (the method)
Then comes the technique. What is to be done? Who will do what? How to do that? these all come under the techniques.

5. Grace (divine blessings, Kripa)
Grace comes last. Once, you have done the whole event, then the Karta needs to surrender it all to the divine and become instrument again himself, and in each of the steps, of taking responsibility you let divine grace work but the grace comes in last. First you have to take the initiative and once you have done everything you can then just sit and relax and let the grace work.

A True Yogi... Vairaagi... dispassionate...

Another amazing pearl of wisdom from Krishan ji..

What happens to you when someone behaves in a manner that you don’t like? You get angry, agitated. People will behave in their own way and if you expect them to behave in a certain way then you are going to upset all your life. Their behaviour is not in our control. So you have to learn to relax. Don’t develop ill feeling towards the people or anger towards them because your own mind then becomes agitated and you are hurting your own self. Don’t be judgemental about those people, otherwise then you give them so much space in your mind, keep on thinking about them. Otherwise your mind will not come to peaceful state. So accept that yes certain people are going to be there who will drive me crazy. But why should I be bothered? Don’t carry their actions within you. Just let it go. Every individual is different carrying different thoughts and beliefs. But you don’t get bothered. You just relax. You just have to save yourself from these all. If you get angry, its okay but then don’t hold onto that anger.

Otherwise, it  wont let you be at peace with yourself. See, everything around you is changing and it will be changing, keep on changing. Your friends may not be friends with you tomorrow, similarly your enemies might turn out to be your best friends. So change is going to happen. But change bothers you. But the reality is that in Nature, everything is changing. It is in the nature of the thing to change. When I know its going to change, why should I get upset about it? I know I am going to lose what I have, why should I get sad when it happens? The wise person, without any Kalesha, ill feeling, sorrow inside remains happy inside. Whatever is happening let them happen. I am undisturbed and this is Vairagya and why does it bother you? Because you are attached. You are attached to the praise so if someone criticizes you, you are bothered. You get attached to the people, so when they are taken away then you get upset.

Vairagya, Dispassion is when you remain undisturbed. You become very loving and caring but at the same time not attached and hence so undisturbed from within.

It bothers you coz you believe things, your possessions, people around you are yours and its not going to change and your become attached to it. That is Asatya, non truth. Because its all changing. Yogi is the one who remains in Satt, the one which is not changing.

When you don’t get affected by changes, then it is called the dispassion. Dispassion doesn’t mean being rigid. You are loving and caring but dispassionate. Carrying judgement about anyone is the big garbage. Don’t collect garbage in your mind. It is your own mind so protect it. When you carry garbage, you can not see even changing in you. You need to take that rubbish out and then you can see changes in you. Drop all the judgements, don’t be so concerned about others. You want to know about yourself but you keep on thinking about others. So get back to yourself, if at all if you wish to know your true self, just drop everything, all concepts, judgements about others in your mind. Be dispassionate and explore your true Nature, your true Self...

Living in Knowledge.. Thanks guys for the reminder..

Recently had such a beautiful conversation with a friend, who is also a sincere seeker of the knowledge, who is also walking on the path of the exploration of the Self. I felt so very nice n good to be reminded of the knowledge that we keep forgetting.

The purpose of gaining the knowledge is to Live in the Knowledge, and not only to speak about it. Coz your presence influences the whole atmosphere around you so beautifully that it speaks more than your words can convince. So, make that presence strongly influential by reminding yourself that you have to live in that knowledge. Only Abhyasa, practising it again and again will help here. Keep remembering, reminding and wake up at this very moment.

This post is just to say a big THANK you to those amazing frnz...

Life is...

Life is as Simple as you Take it and as Complicated as you Make it...

So beautiful sentence n so very true, isn't it? If we look at life it is nothing but the sequence of events happening. When all is happening, where is the doer ship?

Look at the simplicity life brings with it. When you were a little kid, you did not have any prejudices for anything, no judgements for any body, no memories of any experiences to apply before any new thing you do in your life, so your life was so simple. You used to be so happy. If somebody did not recognize you, it never bothered you, if they wouldn't thank you, you couldn't cared less. You used to laugh and smile at everyone you meet regardless of what they have done to you. You used to take life as it comes, used to live in the moments which were bestowed upon you by mother nature, and life was so charming, each moment was a new exploration, each moment was full of so many possibilities for you, really unfathomable !!!

Then you started growing and learned manners, etiquettes and lost somewhat your naturalness. You started being and behaving the way either your society, your parents ,your role model  or someone else wanted you to be. Innocence in taking other people as they are, not looking to the intention behind their mistakes, not taking someone's praise or criticism so seriously, got forgotten, n things started becoming complicated.

Now, when you know that your life is your very own, you have got a say over it, why can not you wake up at this very moment? Just wake up and realize that life is as simple as you take it and as complicated as you make it. At the end of the day, it is only YOU and your CREATOR, No one else. So, why keep bothering about people and things which are not in control? Just drop them, give them all to the divine, offer them, surrender them and be free. Freedom is right here in this moment. Before going to bed tonight, just do a small little process of dropping out (it is described in one of the articles on this blog, so please refer to it) when you sleep, just feel the LUCKIEST of all.. coz you are a special child of the divine...  don't worry if others don't feel the way you do, coz Your divine is your very own and so personally special.. just remember that He loves you more than a mother loves her newborn and cherishes you more than a king does to his crown... You can sleep with a heart, which is so full of gratitude for the divine, to be with you.. at every moment..

Karma Yoga

In Geeta, Krishna gives Arjuna different paths of Yoga. One of them is Karma Yoga. the path of action. What is Karma Yoga? You just put your 100% effort. That’s all you can do, without worrying about success or failure. What the result is going to be? That is not in your control. What is in your control? Effort/action, when you worry about the results, you can not put your 100% effort as part of your energy is wasted in worrying, being anxious.

When you use your efforts in serving society unconditionally makes you really on the path of Karma Yoga. Karma Yoga is putting hundred percent yoru efforts for serving others, benefit of others without worrying for the outcome. Those who don’t do Seva (service), don’t feel useful in life and hence, lots of questions in their mind like what is the purpose of life? Why have I come on this earth? Why someone said me something which is not proper?

When you start walking on the path of action, you feel so useful and so confident, with so many things on your hand to do, you are not left with any time to think over non sense stuff, which kept on bothering you for ages before.

Karma Yoga asks what can I do? How can I be useful? Stop thinking about whether people will recognize you, say thank you or listen to you all time. That should not be the worry. The only thing a Karma Yogi has to do is to come out of this space of expectations and just to put in efforts/do action.

Love let me love you.. let me give my life to you...

St Valentine's day is approaching and my heart just feels so immersed in Love, divine love that I would like to share one of my all time favourite song's lyrics with you today. Ever Since I heard it from Rishi Nityapragya ji in April, 2010, I loved it more n more with each passing day. Rishiji's heavenly voice brings such a phenomenal devotion to this song that after hearing it, all we want to do is just to keep rising in that divine love...

You Fill up my senses,
Like a night in the forest,
Like a mountain in springtime,
Like a walk in the rain,
Like a storm in the dessert,
Like a sleepy blue ocean,
you fill up my senses,
come fill me again...

Love let me love you,
let me give my life to you,
Let me drawn in your laughter,
Let me die in your arms,
Let me lay down beside you,
Let me always be with you,
Love let me love you,
Come, love me again...

The feeling of love is so beautiful that neither can it be said in words, nor can it be expressed fully.. I remember a line of one hindi song which says, " Sirf Ehsaas hai yeh, ruh se mehsoos karo, pyaar ko pyaar hi rahene do koi naam na do ", nearest possible translation in English is " it is just a feeling that you feel from your soul n don't express in any other form"

I feel so very lucky to be loved by my divine and on this Valentine's day I ll pray to my divine to keep this craze forever. coz, once You are in love, you want to keep the beauty of that love living forever in your heart, mind n soul. It is only possible when it is combined with devotion. So, all I wish for my friends on this Valentine's day is, May your lives be filled with such an abundance of love that it becomes eternal celebration n may each moment of your life becomes a Valentine's day in true sense.

Surrendering... Easy or not?

In OFS technique, the last part is surrendering. In that part, you take a deep breath in, connect to the divine and let it go. Now, while holding the breath and connecting, you have to bring in that BHAVA (it is not possible to translate this word, but the nearest meaning can be emotion) of offering it to the divine in totality without holding on to it. The Bhava plays most significant role here. If you do not want to offer it to the divine, that will not go. Your willingness, your strong desire to offer is your biggest qualification here. Once your bhava is intense enough, just offer it to the divine with the outgoing breath and be free. It is not anywhere else, it is just in your mind. If you want to be free, you need to do it right now. No need to think over being free for ages, just take action and be free.

Also, your faith on the object of your worship to whom you surrender is very important. How much do you trust your divine? Do you have full faith? Do you feel strong connection with your divine? Connection with the divine means feeling the presence. If you feel the presence, you are connected.

What stops us from surrendering? Simple thing, Ego or the stupidity of our mind. We will talk more about Ego some other time. The only thing of concern here is, let your Ego not stop you going beyond the world of senses. Sometimes we only believe Truth to be Truth if it goes through the reality check of our senses. But our senses have limitations and the world where senses can work is hardly 3% of the known world to us. Remaining 97% world is out of the reach of our senses, so if you want to explore the truth, you need to go beyond senses. and then you will see, how easy it is to surrender .

Words have their own limitations. Though I attempted here to explain a little bit about Surrender, I guess, Surrender is way beyond words !!!

U stand for Uniqueness.. Be Original, for the world takes U at ur own Estimate...

Dear Friends,

I came across this beautiful piece of knowledge by Guruji from Pushpa today and it is so amazing that I just can not stop my self sharing it here ... Enjoy..

You Are A Masterpiece

"A plum once said, 'just because a banana lover came by, I converted myself into a banana. Unfortunately, his taste changed after a few months and so I became an orange. When he said I was bitter I became an apple, but he went in search of grapes. Yielding to the opinions of so many people, I have changed so many times that I no more know who I am. How I wish I had remained a plum and waited for a plum lover."

Just because a group of people do not accept you as you are, there is no necessity for you to strip yourself off your originality. You need to think Good of yourself, for the world takes you at your own estimate. Never stoop down in order to gain recognition.

Never let go of your true self to win a relationship. In the long run, you will regret that you traded your greatest Glory - your uniqueness, for momentary validation. Even Gandhiji was not accepted by many people. The group that does not accept you as YOU is not Your world.

There is a world for each one of you, where you shall reign as king /queen by just being yourself. Find that world... In fact, that world will find You.

What water can do, gasoline cannot and what copper can, gold cannot. The fragility of the ant enables it to move and the rigidity of the tree enables it to stay rooted. Everything and everybody has been designed with a Proportion of uniqueness to serve a purpose that we can fulfill only by being our unique self.

You as you alone can serve your purpose and I as I Alone can serve my purpose. You are here to be you... Just YOU. There was a time in this world when a Krishna was required and he was sent; A time when a Christ was required and he was sent. There came a time when you were required on this planet and hence you were sent. Let us be the best we can be.

In the history of the universe, there has been nobody like you and to the infinity of time to come, there will be no one like you.
Existence should have loved you so much that it broke the mould after making you, so that another of your kind will never get repeated.

You are original. You are rare. You are unique. You are a wonder. You are a masterpiece. .. Your Master's piece. Celebrate your Uniqueness.

You are you, your own self, don’t change for others, for this is NOT even their world.

Jai Gurudev !!!

lots of love,
Bhavyata.

you say it best, when you say nothing at all...

We might have heard this song n the lyrics so many times, but today, let us feel those words in the context of divine love...

It's amazing how you can speak right to my heart,
without saying a word, you can light up the dark;
try as I may, I could never explain,
What I hear when you Don't say a thing.....

The smile on your face lets me know that you LOVE me,
there is a truth in your eyes saying you'll NEVER LEAVE me;
the touch of your hands says You'll CATCH me whenever I FALL...

You say it BEST, when you say NOTHING AT ALL...

How I see it is, when you do not say anything, means you speak in Meditations, in Silence... When you don't speak, you save lots of energy. In deep silence, your Self gets connected to the BIG SELF, and you become aware of that connection because of non disturbance from the outer world, your whole attention is in the inner world.  Once, your connection is made, your INTUITION speaks for you and your consciousness, which is so very old, which knows everything, makes you aware about what you need to know at that moment in the form of intuition.

and just remember, recollect all those moments when Guruji has looked straight into your eyes... Can you forget that glance ? No way.. coz you felt that it was not only the look into eyes, it was felt as if he was penetrating through your entire being by that looks. Wasn't it? When you look at those eyes you know the truth they speak for.. So, just enjoy being in Love guys...  lucky are those who feels the divine love and keep on rising in that love...

How to influence/affect people, situations, things?

There is a simple scientific way of performing this act of winning over anyone, any situation, anything. Look, the principle in which energy flows is from higher to lower level. So, if you have to win over someone, you are basically looking towards influencing them. As a spiritual seeker you know that when we say I, that is not this body, but we are talking in terms of consciousness (chetna, energy, prana). So, you are supposed to keep your energy level high. This is relative term, "high". means, your energy must be higher in level than the outer world in which you come in contact with so that it flows from YOU to the outer world, i.e. people, situations, things. Once it starts flowing from You to this world, it starts affecting, influencing everything that it comes in contact with, the way it wants. So simple. isn't it?

Now, a question arises here, how to keep energy level high? Our life is so full of activities, that by the time we finish them all, we feel lack of energy. How to maintain that high level? Any AOL teacher will be able to explain this in more detail and in more appropriate way. My understanding is, regular Sadhna combined with Yoga and Pranayamas opens up energy centres in the subtle body and prana (energy) flows freely. Throughout your day, you can use this prana to influence whatever you want to in whichever way...

Just experiment this on your self guys and let me know how effective it is !!! This amazing piece of knowledge is again from my rocking teacher... !!! I feel so blessed to have such a fantastic teacher... Jai Gurudev !!!

What is let go of past?

In Ancient Indian Scriptures, they say, all your thoughts come from the past. if you develop a skill not to give attention to the past, the mind will be free of thoughts. "Let go of past" means do not give much importance. The more importance you give it, the deeper impressions it makes and it will stay longer there to bother you. Just think of it as a dream. Dreams look so real while dreaming, that we don't realize it until we wake up. Similarly take past as a dream and wake up to this knowledge right this moment and get rid of those impressions.

Learn from the past and move forward. Don't hold on to it. Memory has a function to store impressions. so it is up to an individual what to store? You have got choice of storing what seems valuable to you. But, the wise man chooses to store life enhancing memories so that when he remembers them, his senses gets filled with joy and love and that exhilarating state where he feels lively... All non wanted impressions can easily be dropped out using OFS technique...  Develop your intelligence to make it beneficial habit for the mind.

Believe - Dima Bilan... what an inspiration !!!

Even when the thunder and storm begins
I'll be standing stong like a tree in the wind
Nothing is gonna move this mountain or change my direction
I'm falling off the sky and I'm all alone
The courage that's inside is gonna break my fall
Nothing is gonna dim my light within
But if I keep going on it will never be impossible
Not today.

Cause I got something to believe in
As long as I'm breathing
There is not a limit to what I can dream
Cause I got something to believe in
Mission to keep climbing
Nothing else can stop me if I just believe
And I believe in me.

Even when the world tries to pull me down
Tell me that I can't... try to turn me around
I wont let them put my fire out
But if I keep going on it will never be impossible
Not today

Cause I got something to believe in
As long as I'm breathing
There is not a limit to what I can dream
Cause I got something to believe in
Mission to keep climbing
Nothing else can stop me if I just believe
And I believe in me

I can do it all, open every door
Turn unthinkable to reality
You see I can do it all and more

Believing as long as I'm breathing
There is no limit to what I can dream
Believing mission to keep climbing
Nothing else can stop me if I just believe
And I believe in me.

When you feel the path I have chosen, is it right?

When you start walking on a spiritual path, that too without knowing of it being a beginning of the path, you want to explore everything that comes on your way. Once you have got that wo...w feeling, you want to experience that again and again. and even you want to go beyond that. Just wow things are not enough for it, it wants to explore the path in all ways, in all directions, up to all extremes. After knowing it to be the spiritual path, to be the exploration of the ULTIMATE, whether Knowledge, Truth, Self or Creation...  you realize at one point, it does not meet up with your expectations of all being goody goody. You feel the path also has its so called drawbacks, or errors of your perception. and you feel, oh man, was it a wise decision to walk on this path? Your friends warn you initially up to the level. then looking to your enthusiasm about it, they don't dare much but still in their heart their don't support your activity. Sometimes even your family members don't support you. and if you are not strong enough to stand by your own decisions, to accept all the consequences of the same, you get carried away with the sensing, with the feeling of what they pass to you.

I am sure this happens to most of us. But at this point, what do you do? The first and foremost thing that you need to remember is, No matter what, only uplifting of your self is going to happen once you are on this path. Because of one simple reason. What is the first thing that you learn? To be happy... and do you you want to be happy because others are saying so? or you want to be happy because you feel that is why you are living for? The answer of this question will help you identify the ways through which you can blossom your life in all spheres.

Just compare your own life before coming to the path and after walking a few steps on this path. Is there any difference? The same life with the same people and many similar situations.. has it become more fulfilling n happy? Are you happy from within? Are you feeling light like feather even amongst all complexities of life? or has it gone the other way? Has it made your connection with your divine strong? Has it showed you that there are possibilities of going into infinity? The answers of such questions help one find out whether the chosen path is right for you or not.

Keep a reminder to yourself of the comparison of the quality of your life in past to the quality of the same  life in present, whenever a question of the path being right or wrong arises in your mind. and don't forget that Faith is beyond logic, so keep faith on the divine, the CREATOR.... all the best...

Starting a new series.. from the eyes of the modern day Bhagiraths...

Bhagirath is the one who brought the holy river Ganga to the earth. It is a famous story. As per the Ramayana, to liberate his ancestor...
