How to organize an Event?

Again, another pearl of wisdom from Rishi Nityapragya ji...

There are 5 things needed for any event to take place.

1. Mahol (Atmosphere)
You need to create the value for your event. You should not take it casually. The more you make it, "Not so easy to get into people's mind", the more value it adds into it. Because then the human mind becomes curious enough to know what is it? I want to know more, I want to explore this.

2. Karta (the one who takes responsibility)
You need someone to take the total responsibility for the entire event. He works like a palm. He is supposed to make the event all happening.

3. Instruments (those ones who help in it)
Instruments are like fingers. You need to identify the strength and weakness of the people who are working as instruments. If someone is capable of high intelligent work and you don't allocate them that work, they feel under usage and if someone is not that capable and you give them responsibility of that kind of work, they feel over usage. So, Karta needs to identify what is the strength and weakness of each individual in the group and then need to work accordingly so that the whole group functions to create the event.

4. Techniques (the method)
Then comes the technique. What is to be done? Who will do what? How to do that? these all come under the techniques.

5. Grace (divine blessings, Kripa)
Grace comes last. Once, you have done the whole event, then the Karta needs to surrender it all to the divine and become instrument again himself, and in each of the steps, of taking responsibility you let divine grace work but the grace comes in last. First you have to take the initiative and once you have done everything you can then just sit and relax and let the grace work.

A True Yogi... Vairaagi... dispassionate...

Another amazing pearl of wisdom from Krishan ji..

What happens to you when someone behaves in a manner that you don’t like? You get angry, agitated. People will behave in their own way and if you expect them to behave in a certain way then you are going to upset all your life. Their behaviour is not in our control. So you have to learn to relax. Don’t develop ill feeling towards the people or anger towards them because your own mind then becomes agitated and you are hurting your own self. Don’t be judgemental about those people, otherwise then you give them so much space in your mind, keep on thinking about them. Otherwise your mind will not come to peaceful state. So accept that yes certain people are going to be there who will drive me crazy. But why should I be bothered? Don’t carry their actions within you. Just let it go. Every individual is different carrying different thoughts and beliefs. But you don’t get bothered. You just relax. You just have to save yourself from these all. If you get angry, its okay but then don’t hold onto that anger.

Otherwise, it  wont let you be at peace with yourself. See, everything around you is changing and it will be changing, keep on changing. Your friends may not be friends with you tomorrow, similarly your enemies might turn out to be your best friends. So change is going to happen. But change bothers you. But the reality is that in Nature, everything is changing. It is in the nature of the thing to change. When I know its going to change, why should I get upset about it? I know I am going to lose what I have, why should I get sad when it happens? The wise person, without any Kalesha, ill feeling, sorrow inside remains happy inside. Whatever is happening let them happen. I am undisturbed and this is Vairagya and why does it bother you? Because you are attached. You are attached to the praise so if someone criticizes you, you are bothered. You get attached to the people, so when they are taken away then you get upset.

Vairagya, Dispassion is when you remain undisturbed. You become very loving and caring but at the same time not attached and hence so undisturbed from within.

It bothers you coz you believe things, your possessions, people around you are yours and its not going to change and your become attached to it. That is Asatya, non truth. Because its all changing. Yogi is the one who remains in Satt, the one which is not changing.

When you don’t get affected by changes, then it is called the dispassion. Dispassion doesn’t mean being rigid. You are loving and caring but dispassionate. Carrying judgement about anyone is the big garbage. Don’t collect garbage in your mind. It is your own mind so protect it. When you carry garbage, you can not see even changing in you. You need to take that rubbish out and then you can see changes in you. Drop all the judgements, don’t be so concerned about others. You want to know about yourself but you keep on thinking about others. So get back to yourself, if at all if you wish to know your true self, just drop everything, all concepts, judgements about others in your mind. Be dispassionate and explore your true Nature, your true Self...

Living in Knowledge.. Thanks guys for the reminder..

Recently had such a beautiful conversation with a friend, who is also a sincere seeker of the knowledge, who is also walking on the path of the exploration of the Self. I felt so very nice n good to be reminded of the knowledge that we keep forgetting.

The purpose of gaining the knowledge is to Live in the Knowledge, and not only to speak about it. Coz your presence influences the whole atmosphere around you so beautifully that it speaks more than your words can convince. So, make that presence strongly influential by reminding yourself that you have to live in that knowledge. Only Abhyasa, practising it again and again will help here. Keep remembering, reminding and wake up at this very moment.

This post is just to say a big THANK you to those amazing frnz...

Life is...

Life is as Simple as you Take it and as Complicated as you Make it...

So beautiful sentence n so very true, isn't it? If we look at life it is nothing but the sequence of events happening. When all is happening, where is the doer ship?

Look at the simplicity life brings with it. When you were a little kid, you did not have any prejudices for anything, no judgements for any body, no memories of any experiences to apply before any new thing you do in your life, so your life was so simple. You used to be so happy. If somebody did not recognize you, it never bothered you, if they wouldn't thank you, you couldn't cared less. You used to laugh and smile at everyone you meet regardless of what they have done to you. You used to take life as it comes, used to live in the moments which were bestowed upon you by mother nature, and life was so charming, each moment was a new exploration, each moment was full of so many possibilities for you, really unfathomable !!!

Then you started growing and learned manners, etiquettes and lost somewhat your naturalness. You started being and behaving the way either your society, your parents ,your role model  or someone else wanted you to be. Innocence in taking other people as they are, not looking to the intention behind their mistakes, not taking someone's praise or criticism so seriously, got forgotten, n things started becoming complicated.

Now, when you know that your life is your very own, you have got a say over it, why can not you wake up at this very moment? Just wake up and realize that life is as simple as you take it and as complicated as you make it. At the end of the day, it is only YOU and your CREATOR, No one else. So, why keep bothering about people and things which are not in control? Just drop them, give them all to the divine, offer them, surrender them and be free. Freedom is right here in this moment. Before going to bed tonight, just do a small little process of dropping out (it is described in one of the articles on this blog, so please refer to it) when you sleep, just feel the LUCKIEST of all.. coz you are a special child of the divine...  don't worry if others don't feel the way you do, coz Your divine is your very own and so personally special.. just remember that He loves you more than a mother loves her newborn and cherishes you more than a king does to his crown... You can sleep with a heart, which is so full of gratitude for the divine, to be with you.. at every moment..

Karma Yoga

In Geeta, Krishna gives Arjuna different paths of Yoga. One of them is Karma Yoga. the path of action. What is Karma Yoga? You just put your 100% effort. That’s all you can do, without worrying about success or failure. What the result is going to be? That is not in your control. What is in your control? Effort/action, when you worry about the results, you can not put your 100% effort as part of your energy is wasted in worrying, being anxious.

When you use your efforts in serving society unconditionally makes you really on the path of Karma Yoga. Karma Yoga is putting hundred percent yoru efforts for serving others, benefit of others without worrying for the outcome. Those who don’t do Seva (service), don’t feel useful in life and hence, lots of questions in their mind like what is the purpose of life? Why have I come on this earth? Why someone said me something which is not proper?

When you start walking on the path of action, you feel so useful and so confident, with so many things on your hand to do, you are not left with any time to think over non sense stuff, which kept on bothering you for ages before.

Karma Yoga asks what can I do? How can I be useful? Stop thinking about whether people will recognize you, say thank you or listen to you all time. That should not be the worry. The only thing a Karma Yogi has to do is to come out of this space of expectations and just to put in efforts/do action.

Love let me love you.. let me give my life to you...

St Valentine's day is approaching and my heart just feels so immersed in Love, divine love that I would like to share one of my all time favourite song's lyrics with you today. Ever Since I heard it from Rishi Nityapragya ji in April, 2010, I loved it more n more with each passing day. Rishiji's heavenly voice brings such a phenomenal devotion to this song that after hearing it, all we want to do is just to keep rising in that divine love...

You Fill up my senses,
Like a night in the forest,
Like a mountain in springtime,
Like a walk in the rain,
Like a storm in the dessert,
Like a sleepy blue ocean,
you fill up my senses,
come fill me again...

Love let me love you,
let me give my life to you,
Let me drawn in your laughter,
Let me die in your arms,
Let me lay down beside you,
Let me always be with you,
Love let me love you,
Come, love me again...

The feeling of love is so beautiful that neither can it be said in words, nor can it be expressed fully.. I remember a line of one hindi song which says, " Sirf Ehsaas hai yeh, ruh se mehsoos karo, pyaar ko pyaar hi rahene do koi naam na do ", nearest possible translation in English is " it is just a feeling that you feel from your soul n don't express in any other form"

I feel so very lucky to be loved by my divine and on this Valentine's day I ll pray to my divine to keep this craze forever. coz, once You are in love, you want to keep the beauty of that love living forever in your heart, mind n soul. It is only possible when it is combined with devotion. So, all I wish for my friends on this Valentine's day is, May your lives be filled with such an abundance of love that it becomes eternal celebration n may each moment of your life becomes a Valentine's day in true sense.

Surrendering... Easy or not?

In OFS technique, the last part is surrendering. In that part, you take a deep breath in, connect to the divine and let it go. Now, while holding the breath and connecting, you have to bring in that BHAVA (it is not possible to translate this word, but the nearest meaning can be emotion) of offering it to the divine in totality without holding on to it. The Bhava plays most significant role here. If you do not want to offer it to the divine, that will not go. Your willingness, your strong desire to offer is your biggest qualification here. Once your bhava is intense enough, just offer it to the divine with the outgoing breath and be free. It is not anywhere else, it is just in your mind. If you want to be free, you need to do it right now. No need to think over being free for ages, just take action and be free.

Also, your faith on the object of your worship to whom you surrender is very important. How much do you trust your divine? Do you have full faith? Do you feel strong connection with your divine? Connection with the divine means feeling the presence. If you feel the presence, you are connected.

What stops us from surrendering? Simple thing, Ego or the stupidity of our mind. We will talk more about Ego some other time. The only thing of concern here is, let your Ego not stop you going beyond the world of senses. Sometimes we only believe Truth to be Truth if it goes through the reality check of our senses. But our senses have limitations and the world where senses can work is hardly 3% of the known world to us. Remaining 97% world is out of the reach of our senses, so if you want to explore the truth, you need to go beyond senses. and then you will see, how easy it is to surrender .

Words have their own limitations. Though I attempted here to explain a little bit about Surrender, I guess, Surrender is way beyond words !!!

U stand for Uniqueness.. Be Original, for the world takes U at ur own Estimate...

Dear Friends,

I came across this beautiful piece of knowledge by Guruji from Pushpa today and it is so amazing that I just can not stop my self sharing it here ... Enjoy..

You Are A Masterpiece

"A plum once said, 'just because a banana lover came by, I converted myself into a banana. Unfortunately, his taste changed after a few months and so I became an orange. When he said I was bitter I became an apple, but he went in search of grapes. Yielding to the opinions of so many people, I have changed so many times that I no more know who I am. How I wish I had remained a plum and waited for a plum lover."

Just because a group of people do not accept you as you are, there is no necessity for you to strip yourself off your originality. You need to think Good of yourself, for the world takes you at your own estimate. Never stoop down in order to gain recognition.

Never let go of your true self to win a relationship. In the long run, you will regret that you traded your greatest Glory - your uniqueness, for momentary validation. Even Gandhiji was not accepted by many people. The group that does not accept you as YOU is not Your world.

There is a world for each one of you, where you shall reign as king /queen by just being yourself. Find that world... In fact, that world will find You.

What water can do, gasoline cannot and what copper can, gold cannot. The fragility of the ant enables it to move and the rigidity of the tree enables it to stay rooted. Everything and everybody has been designed with a Proportion of uniqueness to serve a purpose that we can fulfill only by being our unique self.

You as you alone can serve your purpose and I as I Alone can serve my purpose. You are here to be you... Just YOU. There was a time in this world when a Krishna was required and he was sent; A time when a Christ was required and he was sent. There came a time when you were required on this planet and hence you were sent. Let us be the best we can be.

In the history of the universe, there has been nobody like you and to the infinity of time to come, there will be no one like you.
Existence should have loved you so much that it broke the mould after making you, so that another of your kind will never get repeated.

You are original. You are rare. You are unique. You are a wonder. You are a masterpiece. .. Your Master's piece. Celebrate your Uniqueness.

You are you, your own self, don’t change for others, for this is NOT even their world.

Jai Gurudev !!!

lots of love,
Bhavyata.

you say it best, when you say nothing at all...

We might have heard this song n the lyrics so many times, but today, let us feel those words in the context of divine love...

It's amazing how you can speak right to my heart,
without saying a word, you can light up the dark;
try as I may, I could never explain,
What I hear when you Don't say a thing.....

The smile on your face lets me know that you LOVE me,
there is a truth in your eyes saying you'll NEVER LEAVE me;
the touch of your hands says You'll CATCH me whenever I FALL...

You say it BEST, when you say NOTHING AT ALL...

How I see it is, when you do not say anything, means you speak in Meditations, in Silence... When you don't speak, you save lots of energy. In deep silence, your Self gets connected to the BIG SELF, and you become aware of that connection because of non disturbance from the outer world, your whole attention is in the inner world.  Once, your connection is made, your INTUITION speaks for you and your consciousness, which is so very old, which knows everything, makes you aware about what you need to know at that moment in the form of intuition.

and just remember, recollect all those moments when Guruji has looked straight into your eyes... Can you forget that glance ? No way.. coz you felt that it was not only the look into eyes, it was felt as if he was penetrating through your entire being by that looks. Wasn't it? When you look at those eyes you know the truth they speak for.. So, just enjoy being in Love guys...  lucky are those who feels the divine love and keep on rising in that love...

Starting a new series.. from the eyes of the modern day Bhagiraths...

Bhagirath is the one who brought the holy river Ganga to the earth. It is a famous story. As per the Ramayana, to liberate his ancestor...
